This is a question Tightwads

There's saving money, and there's being tight: saving money at the expense of other people, or simply for the miserly hell of it.

Tell us about measures that go beyond simple belt tightening into the realms of Mr Scrooge.

Three norms and a rich git...
I lived in a student house with 2 other guys and a girl.
One of the other guys came from a family that owned part of Wales.

We had a local Tesco, Asda, and M&S.
Guess which one he went to when it was his turn to go for the shopping?
So the £50 a week we had for shopping filled two carrier bags, most of the contents of which went into his bedroom because we had so much of the previous weeks shopping left.

Did we allow him to go out on his own again?
