This is a question Tightwads

There's saving money, and there's being tight: saving money at the expense of other people, or simply for the miserly hell of it.

Tell us about measures that go beyond simple belt tightening into the realms of Mr Scrooge.

What were expecting at tea?
Did you think you were going for dinner?

but no, pedantry aside,
was this tea as in 'morning or afternoon tea', or tea as in 'the main meal of the day'?

Pretty bad either way, but much more so in the latter case.

Evening meal
Long time ago now, but it was definitely dark when we got there, so I would estimate that it was around 5/6pm ish.
