This is a question My most treasured possession

What's your most treasured possession? What would you rescue from a fire (be it for sentimental or purely financial reasons)?

My Great-Uncle left me his visitors book which along with boring people like the Queen and Harold Wilson has Spike Milligan's signature in it. It's all loopy.

Either that or my Grandfather's swords.

Tough one
I have often considered throwing out everything I own to rid myself of the awesome amount of shit I have stuffed in drawers and cupboards throughout the house but I can't bring myself to do it. I have every games console I have ever owned right back to a binitone pong machine stashed in a box about 10 consoles in all with another 4 still attached to my tv. I have boxes and boxes of every computer part I have ever replaced in my 7 pc's (which my wife tells me is too many) I keep old modems even though they are obselete. I have 7 acoustic guitars but I only play one I have 5 electrics and only play two. I have 4 guitar amps three of which haven't been plugged in for well over a year. Tonnes of old toys that I nostalgicly purchased of ebay and then stuffed in a cupboard. Clothes I never wear that haven't fit for years. A weights bench I will never use. Oh and about 40 lightsabers.

But worse than all that, I have boxes and boxes of little bits of tat that I just can't throw away. My wife thinks a dvd collection is pointless and a waste of space so science knows what she thinks of my cupboard of crap. It reminds me of a poem called Keith's Cupboard in The Don't Put Mustard in the Custard poem book only lots worse.

Ok i'm rambling but the point is I would probably run back in to the house and try to save it all and end up burning to death but really I should just let it all burn.

AFL etc.
