My most treasured possession
What's your most treasured possession? What would you rescue from a fire (be it for sentimental or purely financial reasons)?
My Great-Uncle left me his visitors book which along with boring people like the Queen and Harold Wilson has Spike Milligan's signature in it. It's all loopy.
Either that or my Grandfather's swords.

What would I rescue from a fire?
I've really had to think about this question. I thought about all the tatty old jewellery I own, I thought of all the photos, all my little nik-naks, my beloved vintage clothing, all of my well-thumbed and re-read books, letters from old lovers, baby clothes that my children wore, my wedding album.
I decided on my make-up bag.

Good choice.
I think I'll add that to my list.
Of course, I'll have to start keeping it all in a bag first.
