I worked in a taxi office too, and have come to the conclusion that ALL taxi drivers are cunts. My mum's seeing one and he tried to bully me at every opportunity, little realising that it's hard to push someone about if they don't give a shit about your opinion...

Anyway, the drivers all acted like wankers, refusing to do a job if it was worth less than a fiver, arguing over who was next on a job, eventually I just packed it in because they're all full of shit.

as for selling the company, I think all taxi companies do that to avoid tax, the one I worked for "changed hands" twice while I was working there.
