Australia is real bad for truckers as well
Think of 18 wheelers with another 18 wheel carriage on the back, these things are more like trains than trucks. I Was travelling up from Brisbane to Fraser Island a few years ago when we noticed two of these behemoths with a little white car in between them, they left no space for this little white vehicle and you could see the guy trying to get out of the situation but he couldn’t because the road was to narrow, the weather was tropical to say the least and a thunderstorm had just kicked in, so the road was getting drenched by chubby rain. Remember commenting to the Mrs. that the situation looked hairy to say the least. Anyway didn't think anything of it until we reached our hotel destination and switched on the TV. The news was on and to my surprise they had reporters on exactly the same stretch of road we had gone down. They were showing what was left of this little white car, It had been flattened and the driver had been killed instantly...Apparently the first truck had aqua planed, causing the car to smash into the first truck and for good measure the second truck smashed and crushed this little Japanese car into what can only be described as a ball of metal......Poor bastard didn't stand a chance.
