my dad is a masonhe has all manner of books, talismands, tumblers with symbols on them.
one Hogmanay I introduced ho to my neigbour who is also a 'brother of the craft'
they sat chatting (and drinking) for a couple of hours. i decided to liven up things a bit by pointing out they were both 'on the level'
Suddenly all manner of silly handshakes and whatnot begin - then the tumblers with symbols on them are produced.
what's the point of this underground network if they cant identify each other after two hours sitting chatting
its all about getting away from the mrs one night a week, getting pished and escaping the odd speeding fine
