A room with a (remote) view
A few years ago I was seeing a girl, R, who, once we'd got to know each other well, said that she believed she had some psychic powers, something she put down to having Native American blood on her father's side of the family.

She'd been reading up on the subject and discovered the concept of remote viewing, and was wondering whether she was capable of doing this herself.

My mum was on holiday at the time and we were planning on popping down to her house, so R said she'd try to picture what it was like.

After a while she said she was getting a strong sense of something that seemed like a living room, but couldn't be, because it was far too bright. But it did have a brown sofa, a big round table and chairs, and some kind of black and white floor.

I didn't say anything, but when we got down to my mum's house and I showed her the conservatory, very bright due to all the glass, with the big brown sofa, black and white tiled floor and big round dining table and chairs in the corner... well, it freaked her out a little, because that was exactly what she'd seen.

Spooky.
