They proceeded to get inside men in the NYPD, NYFD, Boeing (who's recent conduct suggests that they can't keep a secret even when paid), the FAA, American Airlines, United Airlines, The NYTA and any number of other organisations who have all kept shtum since the most extraordinary piece of organisation since D-Day.

I'll weigh up the probabilities and until this one gets sorted, go with something near the official line thanks.
