In the last few months?
Same thing happened to my housemate. Only she didn't make the earthquake connection and didn't see the rest of the room vibrating - so thought her bed was vibrating like in The Exorcist. She then stayed awake until I got up at 7 and came into my room with haunted eyes saying she was sure the devil was trying to send her a message. I had to Google the earthquake to set her fears at rest...
