I'm currently trying to finish my Masters thesisI officially started last year, but I spent most of 2009 twidling thumbs so now the pressure's on with a vengeance. And guess what? I'm about as inspired to finish it as I am to go to the dentist. Almost every day I wish to buggery that I'd just quit after my Honours year and trained to be a teacher or something as I really can't be arsed much these days (guess why I'm on b3ta?).
Still, the fact that I've wasted so much time already spurns me on, but fuck me if it isn't a daily chore. And the worst part? I'm an English student. Analysing "portrayals of academia in the masculine literary tradition of New Zealand" demands a lot of one's sanity, apparently.
