This is a question Starting something you couldn't finish

Finnbar says: I used to know a guy who tattooed LOVE across his left knuckles, but didn't tattoo HATE on the other knuckles because he was right-handed and realised he couldn't finish. Ever run out of skills or inspiration halfway through a job?

I
am in exactly the same position. I have a half-dug pond full of weeds at the bottom of the garden. I even asked my son's scout patrol to help and they got down to the concrete-hard clay and decided to play on the Wii instead. I'll get it finished one day.

I'm in the
dug a hole and got bored with it club too.

I did it when I was about 10. Me and a friend decided what my garden was missing was a swimming pool.

So we got some shovels and took about 3 sqare metres of topsoil off of the lawn, then abandoned it, and went to the park.

When he discovered our handiwork, rather than wait for me to get home, my Dad actually sent my brother to the park to bring me home.

Distinct lack of pocket money that year.
