It's just 'laugh, laugh, laugh' with these japesters. I think it's pathetic.
To my mind the world is a serious place and I try to pitch my internet posts at a level that respects that.

I particularly like it when they demonstrate how they're not pompous bell ends
by announcing that they're bored of taking to you and then continue to talk to you. Self-deprecatory wit like that must take practice.
