Waste of money
I once paid a small fortune to a solicitor in a legal case. She got lost on the way to court, turned up late with the wrong papers and started an argument with the judge, who told her to "shut up, for the love of God". A stunning investment.
Thanks to golddust for the suggestion

Sky/Virgin
Mate of mine just told me he got a "right fucking bargain" by getting rid of Sky and moving to Virgin. "Only £85 a month for the telly, internet and phone.". He thinks thats normal. £1000+ a year for a load of shit. Sky's just as bad. I object to even paying for a freeview box when theres fuck all on.

Heh
I had four years of paying for Virgin TV (which I never used) after my ex left. It was only last year, when they were pestering me to upgrade to digital, that I finally got round to dumping it.
The difference between Internet + Phone versus Internet + Phone + TV came to about £30 a month. Not much, unless you multiply that by the forty-eight months I'd paid for it unnecessarily. FFFFFFFffffuuuuuuuuuu....
Still have the TV (used for DVDs &c) and can probably shot the TV licence as there's no TV signal being used, but apathy's probably going to win this one.
