If it were pronounced as English without having heard it before it would be pronounced "sayd" and in French (which her pronunciation alludes to) it is pronounced "sad" as in the Marquis de Sade.
Also, looking up Winterthur it appears it ought to be pronounced "vintertur", so you're both wrong.

I would say "Vintertur" as well, but as the company is British, they say Winterthur.
