Sorry, but I think the misunderstood question is slightly more interesting than the original question.
I'm glad it's fucked up, I really can't think of anything less interesting that how someone worked out why their cupbaord door was squeaking.

Surely there are some good proper answers,I guess some people think that any answer is better than none at all, but for the alternative question at least I was expecting something more along the lines of the guy who, until he went to University, thought that burning the toast and scraping the black bits off into the sink was the normal way to make toast.
