Possibly because only 7% of computer users actually use Macs....Also Apple controls what software you can use which, logically would lead to less problems, but also less flexibility.

No they don'tthey do it on Iphones, Ipdas and Ipods. But that doesn;t work anyway, it takes about 10 minutes to jailbreak, and install a pirate downloader.
