The Weird Kid In ClassThere was a kid in my class who stood up every day and told everyone he had new shoes. This went on for weeks, and we all thought him nuts. Then, one day, he stood up and told us a long story about why his family were moving to another part of the country, and how excited he was. The next thing we heard was that he'd died in a plane crash.

my friend the weirdoI've known him all my life, but he started to weird out particularly in high school.
Generally an overly sensitive, soft kind of character, he'd decide to prove he was hard at the most inconvenient moments. It didn't help that he was egged on by two nuts who were inseparable from him.
He could talk me into just about anything, and generally got me into trouble.
I'm still attached to him though. I must admit I have had some good times with him.
