Weird TraditionsTalking with a friend yesterday about school dinners, she suddenly said, "We had to march into the dining room behind the School Band... except on Thursdays." Since all of us were now staring, she qualified this with, "...on Thursdays there was no wind section. It was a tradition."

well...you have to understand the whole thing only took about 3.5 seconds from start to finish. so my seeing the corner, the car and then the grass verge all took place pretty much simultaneously in one sickening stomach churning slew of brown hedge, black road, blue car and green... shit i'm still alive.
