Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us that his ambition is to a) drive around New Zealand in a camper van; and b) have MASSIVE sex with the original members of Bananarama. Tell us what's on your wish list, and why.

And actually be good enough to warrant the expense... which I'm not. Suppose I should stop spending money going out and lock myself in the flat until I can actually play...

I don't like the Gibson and it doesn't like me. Can't play the thing without it going out of tune.
The Rickenbacker is nice.
I'd rather have my Strat and the Gibson Firebird I intend to buy though.

Rickenbackers are absolutely lovely though.

I can't abide Les Pauls, but clearly they must be good because so many excellent guitarists use them.
the thing with the 336 is odd though. I don't play it any differently to any other guitar, and yet it goes badly out of tune when I play it to the point where I can't use it for a whole song.
the Firebird however was a delight to play and as soon as I can muster up £1200 and the justification to buy it then I will do so!

and never had any problems with that either.
Must admit, though, I've never played with a 336 for any amount of time so you may well be right.
Les Pauls are OK, but I don't think I'd ever buy one.

and that they are really end heavy at the bridge end. Personal thing though, and I haven't played one since I got good enough to make it worthwhile.
I suspect it is just me with the 336, my mate who owns it can play it with no trouble.

but models. I'm not bothered about having a 'top brand'. I've had a few very cheap guitars I just liked.
But in both those instances they're just really, really nice guitars, and I want them.
