...Mostly the south-west, so Reykjavik (of course) and the so-called 'Golden Circle', and also a tour of the Snæfellsnes peninsula. We'd wanted to visit the Westman Islands but that pesky volcano silted up the harbour that the ferry goes from, so that was out. With more time we'd have gone further around the south coast and taken a trip up north, too. Also, we could've spent another couple of days just exploring Reykjavik itself.
The landscape is incredible, bizarre, awesome. And the poeple -- while initially reserved -- are very friendly and welcoming.
Great place.
