I've never understood the "flatpacks are hard to assemble" meme
...they always seem pretty straightforward to me. And IKEA ones avoid badly translated text, have clear pictures and even provide spare fixings.

Sorry if that comes over as smug. But I genuinely don't know where this comes from.

If you can understand the drawings
then they make sense. But it does require a bit of study to do so.
