I witnessed a crime

Can't say he did...
...perhaps he just got a little nervous, like you do when you go to speak to your crushes.
It's a slightly worrying idea - I'd assumed that, since I was pushing 6ft at age 15 and probably could have sung second bass*, I wasn't really to a nonce's tastes.
Still, it's nice to think at least one person might have fancied me back then.
*No, I wasn't a choirboy at the time either. That would have been a dead giveaway.
