I witnessed a crime

Exactly.
In France, the populace have been known to use the guillotine on unpopular politicians.
In Germany, a leader who's caused mayhem and misery at least has the decency to shoot himself
In the USA, every two decades or so someone might take a pot shot at a leader verging on becoming a liability.
In Japan, the inept head of government has been known to disembowel himself in shame.
Over here in the UK, we just vote the useless pricks in for another term...
