I might have spent most of today either asleep...but the truth is that I do what I'm paid for and I do work hard when needed.
I think the problem is that most workplaces are so union-led or scared of HR that all jobs are lowest-common-demoninator. If I expected everyone in the office to keep up with the amount of work I *could* get done, or to get on and do things without having to have it explained 47 times, then I think that most of the staff would be fired for not meeting those standards. I am sure I'm not the only one here in that situation...
