What on Earth makes you think he likes sport?He has displayed no evidence of such a hobby. He just likes being treated like a senior world statesman, getting put up in the best hotels with entertainment laid on wherever he goes.
If he liked football, in particular, he'd be doing things to improve it, rather than blocking every suggestion on the grounds that if kids in a park can't have it, nobody else can either. (Notable exception - most kids kicking a ball about in the park don't get paid enough to build a small general hospital every year.)

Besides the fact all the other evidence points away from him being a fan of sport...... Unless he's a secret sumo wrestler or spare Hungry Hippo.
