Don't you get £100/month on top of stuff for taxes?

no
taxis, she gets a danny de vito bonus.
(, Wed 26 Dec 2007, 20:38, archived)
Something like that
But when you consider I work 8 hours a week due to my company being gay and reducing hours, and support a student, then you can understand it
(, Wed 26 Dec 2007, 20:38, archived)
Not really.
Find another job. Get your boyfriend to get up off his arse and get a job.

My boyfriend has a job
And a car. And a loan to pay back. And a phone to pay for.

And I can't get another job because I'm not on rota and my shifts will increase again in '08. I'm not fucking around another company just because one fucks me around. I'd like to keep job opportunities open.

So if your boyfriend has all of these things...
why are you supporting him?

Actually, that's a good point...doesn't he give you money so you can get drunk? So who are you supporting exactly?

a phone is not a necessity
its a luxury, so is a car.

Truth be told the way you keep moaning, if I had a company and you came for a interview , you would get a `thanks but no thanks,we shall keep your cv on file for 6 months`

and university paid for.

(, Wed 26 Dec 2007, 20:39, archived)
now now
I get my university fees paid for, and a generous student loan - but recieve no funding from parents so work all week for it. So we're not all bad.

Also, I'll be giving something back to the country when I qualify in July (teacher). So I like to think that'll maybe cancel out the mebeingagypponess going on.
(, Wed 26 Dec 2007, 20:46, archived)
so are you being paid through by the school/uni you are going to work for then?
because that's a different thing, really :)
(, Wed 26 Dec 2007, 20:48, archived)
Nope
It's being paid for by the state, I'm afraid.
(, Wed 26 Dec 2007, 20:49, archived)
*le gasp*
;)

I wasn't mentioning it as a bad thing on it's own, but to condemn others for living off benefits while doing it yourself is a bit hypocritical.
(, Wed 26 Dec 2007, 20:51, archived)
Aah
Didn't make that connection.

Huzzahs all round :)
(, Wed 26 Dec 2007, 20:53, archived)
Fuck no
I pay for my fees. I get a student loan that covers it but I have to pay every penny back!
(, Wed 26 Dec 2007, 20:51, archived)
oh ok
I apologise - I thought you said before that you wouldn't have to pay it back.
(, Wed 26 Dec 2007, 20:53, archived)
like practically every other fucker.
