My mate went through NA and a few rehab programs
he's now bitterly against the 12 steps and sees NA attendees as brainwashed cult victims. But at least he's off the smack.

i can honestly undersdtand that
it's a very preachy way of doing it, and people that are successes in it can be very condescending. it worked for me though and I'm indebted to them forever because of it

I met some great people through it but to be honest the best thing i ever did was leave this awful country for 7 years, that was my "12 steps"
