He's was a bit of a Right wing nutter and his characters were usually pretty 2 dimensional.
But I approve of using SCIENCE in fiction to try and get across ideas :)

I don't know what you mean by '2 dimensional' to be honest.
I just like the vast majority of his books that I've read.
