I want to do dancing
However I don't know what kind of dancing to do, or where to go for it.

Have you heard about this wonderful thing called the interwob?
there's this thing called go-ogle which allows you to ogle other peoples wobsites and they have stuff saying "dance classes here every week" and people turn up and have fun. It's an extension to REAL LIFE.

My point being, you won't be able to choose a dance style until you know what's on offer in your area.
