Amazing!
We used to have an ex royal mail one in red on the farm I worked at. No tax or MOT, mainly got used for doing powerslides on the wet grass!

you can do that with
these as well

(That's what the LDV replaced)

Ace.
We also used to powerslide and J turn tractors. Surprisingly easy to do with independant rear breaks.

Some of the tractors had a hand throttle, a forward and back pedal on the right and independant breaks on the left.

Full speed forwards to full speed backwards in less than a second.

that sounds mental
especially considering you're talking about 40" rims dawg

Holla!
Yeh, there was one John Deere we had that had 300bhp and rear wheels over 6 foot in diameter, good fun for terrorising othe road users!

We also used to take the weights off the front of the tractors, stick a heavy pallet on the back and see how far we could wheelie steering with the rear breaks.

Not quite in the same league
but I used to drive a Fordson Super Dexter that had independent brakes. Excellent for cornering in the mud.

Very true.
I have never driven a Fordson, we did have a 1968 Ford 4110 that was quite a giggle.
