How did our eating habits change from hunting boar in the forest opportunistically,
versus having domesticated pigs in our own back garden?

Also have to take into consideration the trade element. How expensive/cheap were pigs considered to be compared to other animals. Were they the caviar of our day, or just the bread and butter to be casually tossed aside when we're full?

Well they wouldn't have wasted any
uses for all of them. Anything better than gruel or cabbage was caviar.
