Heatpipes don't chill.You could only hope to get to ambient, and even then, very slowly. They'd be even less effective with the car stationary.

yes, that's the idea,ambient temperature is better than greenhouse temperature.

Not if you want it less than ambient.If it's 30C, I want it down to 20C, like most normal human beings living in temperate climates. I would argue that people in HOTTER climates could do without it, as they'd be used to the heat.
