Riga & Tallinn
Cheap booze, English spoken widely, women of easy virtue - basically what you want, right?

However I had a gun pulled on me in Riga, and my friend was dropped off on the outskirts of the city by a corrupt policeman who took most of his money as a bribe.

Lovely teahouse in the central park, mind.

Old Riga is actually very nice.
There's a beautiful 14th Century Guildhall called the 'House of the Blackheads' right next door to an a lumpen concrete blight on the landscape called the 'Latvian Occupation Museum.' I asked a taxi river about this and he told me that as ugly as the building was, it wasn't nearly as ugly as the occupation itself, which i found interesting.

Later that evening I took a Cypriot ice skating for the first time ever.
