its much darker than any of the other batman movies.

As far as batmans go he´s done a great job, compared to fucking clooney etc.

I think he played it really well,
he did something nearly all other superhero films have neglected by playing 2 roles, In the recent films Batman and Bruce Wayne are completely different characters, exactly how it should be done.

much more interesting story line for the characters too. never expected the girl to blow up, inspector gordon to fake a death to bring in the joker, batman to go to china to bring in the gangsta fella and escape with old ww2 tactics.

The Harvey Dent parts were the only good part.
The Joker was terrible. No character development or explanation. I actually had to look the character bio up. Harvey Dent/Two Face worked brilliantly, purely because I understood the character.

And where Christian Bale is better than Clooney, that's pretty much down to scripting. If you'd put Bale in Batman and Robin, he would've been awful.
