The book question gets asked quite a lot
I'm reading the de-de-da-de-de code by Robert Rankin at the moment, and am really struggling to finish it. Shame, I like the bloke but his recent books are a bit poo.

I found that.
His earlier stuff is really good.

Yeah, the armageddon books were good
I loved the Ealing ones, maybe partly 'cos I'm from that area, dunno. It was just nice, pissheads saving the world. He seems to have lost his way a bit after that.

They're good but not great.

Oh come one Robert, get back to form man.

I take it all a bit personally
'cos I've always bigged him up to friends, have been out drinking with the man a couple of times, but the books just aint all that any more

You should pop over and have a word.

Last I heard, he was writing a book about a DIY store in Brighton
Never seen that on the bookshelves so it must've been REALLY bad
