Well quite, so many ins and outs to take in. Long ago got lost thinking about how much money things cost in pure money compared to how affordable stuff is on my gigantically huge salary and such.

Even though the market is in a bit of a lull at the moment
the price will rise. Sure, there will be dips and periods of rapid growth in value of property, but the best time to buy is when the market flattens out.

Interesting angle from my inlaws was that as and when there is a general election and the tories win, houseprices will rise then amidst all that lovely false hope and optimism.
