The call I had with HR went like this:
"Well, we're looking for someone with project management experience"
"I'm currently managing a project on (jargon)"
"We also need someone with people coaching skills"
"I did a course on this" etc.. etc..

Basically I was perfect for the job, but not part of the clique.
