I hate when that happens,
I got a proper mega deal on a new notorbike, goes trade for around 2,500 second hand, got one on eBay for 700 with almost no work needs doing.
Have you got a local gumtree? Hit and miss but my brother just picked up a great little car for almost nothing because the guy was desperate for cash. Do check the registration in case its been bucked though.
