Guitar preamp DI pedal interface thing
turns out if you accidentally press two of the footswitches at once it goes into bypass mode. All the lights go off and it is just dead. I'd have known this if I'd read the instruction manual but I didn't get where I am in life by reading instructions.

Anyway.
