When my dad died suddenly 2 years ago I had a bit of an existential crisis. I really wanted to believe there was something and I thought about the comfort those people must get for believing in an afterlife etc. it fucked me up.

I have never felt that comfort myself But others do. My beliefs are not theirs. If they want to believe that, let them.
