They're trying everything to get him back home
2 male nurses actually helped him to stand up and walk around his bed today. I know that sounds like a good thing, but I think they're rushing it due to lack of beds

The chances of infection might be lower at home..?*
If he's getting physio already that is actually really good. Far better than a 78yo deteriorating in bed in my layman opinion. Seems risky with a broken pelvis but the medical experts are probably acting in his best interest.*
*especially if the ward has had problems with mrsa, sepsis, etc.
