Had an attack of vertigo on the stairs Fell backwards down the stairs and broke his left shoulder, left arm, four ribs and his pelvis. In the hospital, he developed a serious infection which the nurses admitted was from the cannula, so he's been on an intravenous antibiotic I.V. for 2 weeks. He had a scan Wednesday to make sure that the infection was gone and hadn't got to his heart. There's a downstairs wet room and toilet, so he doesn't need to go upstairs, as we've also got him a single bed in the living room. He's just waiting until they sort out district nurse visits.
