He did pretty well when he was in charge of Radio 4's Today programme
so he could do a job. But yes. He was a monumental twunt who had the kind of hilariously un-PC opinions that had wankers from down the golf club saying, "That Rod Liddle, he should be prime minister..." Kind of like Jeremy Clarkson without the comedy timing and worse hair.
