I'm just pissed off
Found out today that I don't just have a hernia, I also have gallstones, which are the likely culprit of my very painful trapped wind. I've now been referred to 2 surgeons because I need 2 operations.

On the plus side, gall bladder is usually done laparoscopically, very short recovery time, and you'll probably have a bunch of minor ailments improve afterwards

I hope so
Mum had gallstones, the second they cut into her, she turned yellow. Jaundice. She was stuck in for 9 days. Still, it's been at least a couple of years since I had surgery, I was almost beginning to miss it.
