My sister has two lovely cats, but one had an abcess on his neck
it burst in the middle of the night, spraying the living room with pus. It took hours to clean up all the puss pus from the sofa, the walls and the floor.

Albie didn't seem to be suffering much before
or after, but he did get taken to the vets to have it seen to properly and that was no fun at all for him.
