they have a habit of dying when they get near me. fortunately, i have lots of friends buying plasma screen tellies, so they're always getting rid of their old ones. i've got secondhand tellies everywhere!

me, i'm using an old power mac as a media pc. it rocks except that it's loud, slow and probably burns ten times as much leccy as a boxee would.


edit: good lord, what happened to my post? i was espousing the pleasures of just having a computer connected to the telly - your laptop if there isn't an old one to connect up permanently. works a charm.
