Devastating put-downs: I once saw a former manager of mine being asked to 'sit down and let your mouth have a chance to speak' by his senior. What's the best heckle/putdown/riposte you've ever seen?
Misconceptions: The missus used to think 'Beastiality' just meant you liked animals better than people - she was half-right, I suppose, but the look of horror on her face when I explained the full meaning was a sight to behold. What have you only recently found out you've been wrong about this entire time?
Worst man for the job: The guy who cleans my parents windows is scared of heights and refuses to climb ladders, so has to have an assistant to do upstairs windows. Who do you know who is just completely unsuited to the job they do? Colin Hunt types: 'David Cameron' does not a funny answer make.
Finding out the hard way: We've all learnt one of life's hard lessons through moments of genius/stupidity/curiosity. So what was it for you?

I like this and did the necessary
Apart from liking the topic, I thought that this would probably mean that replies will be brief.
So often, people use 1000 words where 50 would suffice.
You know the ones I mean? They start with... "It was about 20 years ago, or was it 19? no, it definitely was 20 because I remember I bought new shoes. I had a girlfriend who treated me like dirt but I was so in love with her... ramble....ramble... waffle...more unrelated drivel... then a car came around the corner and hit me and I broke my foot".

"Sit down and let your mouth have a chance to speak"?
That's absolutely rubbish!
Shirley "Sit down and let your mouth have a chance to breathe" would have been far better.
I would have cunted them in the fuck for being shit, and had a nice pie afterwards.

"Shut your mouth and give your arse a chance" - is my favourite.

Devastating put downs
is going to be a week of people pretending they said what they thought of 15 minutes after it was relevant. And Honda Accord anecdotes.
