Is there an easy way of getting rasters with transparent backgrounds into flash? I think I'm missing something obvious.

# pngs
the king of image files, as long as you don't want to view them in IE... nice quality transparent pics into Flash though
(, Fri 4 Aug 2006, 21:39, archived)
# Ooooh thanks!
I will give it a go.

# i use pngs for all bitmap images in flash these days
you can had feathered edges on them too (although you want to keep an eye on filesize if you do that)
(, Fri 4 Aug 2006, 21:45, archived)
# Ta for that.
Got to be better than the way I made the last couple.
(, Fri 4 Aug 2006, 21:47, archived)
# hehe
did you do the masking in Flash? i've done both that and giffing, I nearly cheered when i first started using pngs
(, Fri 4 Aug 2006, 21:51, archived)
# I did everything with a combination of paintshop and animationshop
But having the bits and pieces nicely imported into flash will make things so much easier.
(, Fri 4 Aug 2006, 21:55, archived)
# oh crikey yes
i've done similar to that too
your flashing is about to be revolutionised :)
