esc stops all the animations on the page, though. and you have to reload to see them
for firefox on windows, this works:
click on the browser title bar or the edge of the window, as if you were going to move or resize it.
animation pauses while you hold the mouse button down. resumes when you let go

Just remembered if I hold down the mouse wheel
that it does pretty much the same thing...

/Am using IE because I cant be bothered changing to firefox. Yes I know its very little effort, but it is still effort...
